There are currently over 500,000 people who are using the Motability scheme to lease a car in the UK. And, here at Norton Way Nissan, you can take advantage of the scheme to transform your government funded mobility allowance into a brand new Nissan. Motability is a registered charity that is in place to help disabled people and their families become more mobile.
If you do join Motability then you simply exchange your War Pensioners Mobility Supplement or your Higher Rate Mobility Allowance for a brand new Nissan every three years. Some of the cars we have in stock will require an Advance Payment, which is payable to your dealer.
In order to qualify for the Nissan Motability scheme, you must be eligible to receive one of the following benefits:
• Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance
• Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment
• War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement
• Armed Forces Independence Payment
As well as the above you should also be expecting to receive your allowance for the full length of the agreement. If, however, you have at least 12 months of the award remaining then you are able to join. And, you don’t even need to be able to drive to pick up a Motability Nissan. You are able to nominate up to two drivers to drive your car for you.
The Nissan Motability scheme is available over a three-year period.
As a part of the agreement you will be provided with maintenance, insurance, servicing and full breakdown cover, which will all be supplied by the RAC.
