  • The process can be completed within 20 minutes.
  • Utlises Nissan's ProPilot technology from the Nissan LEAF and Qashqai

In a bid invigorate grass roots football, Nissan - the official sponsor of the UEFA Champions League, have designed the Pitch-R robot. The robot uses Nissan's innovative ProPILOT driver assistance technology to create a football pitch where ever there's space.

With the use of four on board camera's, collision avoidance systems and GPS tracking, the Pitch-R uses an eco-friendly dissolvable paint to draw lines on grass, gravel or tarmac. All in less than 20 minutes.

ProPilot is a new feature on the Intelligent Mobility roster, the company's vision for how cars are to be integrated into our lives in the future. The first car to feature this new tech was the all-new LEAF, a car that was recently awarded with a 5 star euro NCAP rating under 2018's stricter testing protocols.

Nissan’s engagement with grassroots football also includes support to programs that help young people not currently in education or training. The purpose is to harness the power of football to create a fairer society and brighten the futures of young people across Europe. The program is operating in both France and the U.K. through a partnership with the UEFA Foundation for Children and StreetFootballWorld.
